Poster Abstract Submission
We invite participation and registration for this meeting and encourage the submission of an abstract from interested scientists. Submitted abstracts will be considered for both oral and poster presentations. Please specify if you only want to present your poster and do not wish to give a presentation at the meeting.
Abstracts should be e-mailed as an attachment to Melinda Gray, the conference manager for this meeting, to melindaagray@comcast.net. Please submit your abstract no later than Friday, January 28. Authors will be notified of acceptance by Monday, February 21.
Abstract Submission Requirements - Please follow these guidelines in the submission of your abstract. Prepare your abstract in Microsoft Word or WordPerfect. Use the presenter's last name as the document file name for your abstract.
- Abstract title should appear in Bold, all capital letters, in 14-point Times New Roman Font. Remaining text should appear in 12-point Times New Roman Font.
- Please list the authors and affiliations directly under the title, separated by one space, and followed on additional lines as necessary. Underline the name of the presenting author.
- Separate the authors/affiliations and beginning of the abstract narrative by two spaces.
- Abstract narrative should not exceed 1 page.
- The abstract narrative must be clear, concise, and copy edited in advance of submission. With the exception of possible formatting for uniformity in print, no changes will be made to your submitted material.
Poster Specifications
- The poster boards will accommodate A0 size posters and participant's posters should be this size or smaller (A0 size is 841mm × 1189mm (33 in x 46 in). Please prepare your materials accordingly to ensure that all of your display material will fit within these dimensions.
- All text on the poster should be in font size no smaller than 16 pt. and must be visible from a distance of about 2-3 feet.
- Illustrations and photos should contain captions.
- At least one abstract author should be present to participate in the interactive poster session.
- Poster display boards will be in placed in Foyer A at St. Anne's College by 12 noon on March 15, and will be removed at 9am on March 18.
